About MGRC:
The Minnesota Governmental Relations Council (MGRC) is a network of the 500 most well-connected lobbyists in Minnesota, whose common goal is to influence the public policy process through ethical representation. For 40 years, legislators and state officials have relied on the credible information they receive from MGRC members.
As a professional association, MGRC provides continuing education, networking opportunities, advocacy, and members-only workspace and Wi-Fi to ensure our members continue to thrive and grow in the ever-changing world of government relations and lobbying.

About the Position:
The caretakers will oversee the organization of our association’s Member Room (Room B700 in the State Capitol Building). This role will be responsible for the following:
• Maintaining a clean, efficient working environment for all members through bi-weekly room checks.
• Logging inventory of office supplies and coordinating with MGRC administrative staff to ensure orders are made well in advance.
• Being the first contact to troubleshoot any issues or problems that members have while using our copier / printer machines. Training will be provided.
• Act as a representative of MGRC throughout the 2020 Legislative Season, taking ownership of the role and working with members and MGRC staff to ensure our space is taken care of.

Please note: This is a paid position, MGRC is able to offer a monthly stipend to two caretakers for the 2020 Legislative Season.
