The Policy Analyst is a central role in the Minnesota Hospital Association's (MHA) policy and advocacy efforts, serving as a hub for innovative research, analysis, and policy development that benefits Minnesota’s hospitals and health systems.  A successful policy analyst will be a creative researcher and writer who enjoys working within an entrepreneurial fast-paced environment that is mission-driven.  They will have the ability to exercise sound judgment, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. Working across several MHA divisions, the Policy Analyst will thrive while working independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must work under pressure at times to handle a large variety of state, federal, and fiscal policy priorities.
