I am currently graduated, with a degree in political science from MN state university Moorhead. Currently I am employed by 3M as a customer and dispute analyst, while I certainly enjoy 3M my passion is for policy. In fall of 2018 I was able to intern for US Sen. John Hoeven of ND this was an amazing experience which reaffirmed my interest in policy. I have a strong passion for politics and living out the principles that truly make America great; so much so that I am also working towards a commission in the USAF through the AFROTC program. The time I have spent in AFROTC has given me the ability to think under pressure, communicate efficiently, to serve others, to lead by example, and maintain professional discipline.  This would make me an ideal team member because it correlates directly to working within a nonpartisan fast-paced landscape, and as a member in the office. In 2014 I spent 6 months living as a missionary in Venezuela. This experience reveled to me the importance of having honest public servants who seek the common good and inherent human freedoms. This time abroad sparked my interest in policy which drove me to study political science.

I believe I would be a great asset in your team, and it would provide me the opportunity to expand my understanding of Minnesota policy while bringing my skills to the table. Thank you for you.

Respectfully,

Austin Stolpestad
