Dear MGRC Job Board,

I am a legislative and administrative professional with years of experience in the public sector. I am passionate about governmental relations because my core belief is that the government must work best for the people who need it the most. I have lived and worked in the Twin Cities my entire life and career. So my number one goal is to protect my life long home 

I am interested in regional issues, having spent time working for Metro Transit as a Sales Operations Intern and completing my capstone project on attitudes towards public transportation. This is because what happens in one part of the Twin Cities affects the whole region. Put it another way, what happens in Burnsville, a Suburb in Dakota County, affects Saint Paul, one of the core Twin Cities.

I have done both campaign and legislative work. This means that I have a sound understanding of how campaigns and the legislative process works. I also have experience advocating at the Minnesota Capital as a Legislative Specialist for Students United, along with organizing legislative events. My work ethic is unmatched, as is my attention to detail and my knowledge of how various levels of government operate. In addition, I have also done regular work in the public sector. My latest being an Elections Support Specialist for the City of Minneapolis. 

I am looking for full time legislative work. This can be temporary or permanent.
